Yep! You know Yoda? He's the payback for the boy's mis-behavior when he was younger. God was looking down on me when the boy adopted that dog. :lmao: Paybacks are hell.

So you were there this evening? I saw Yoda (brown boxer, runs like a deer?).

R and I sat on the bench and finally limped my butt home. I wish we had met, I still want to get you out to the farm to play with the BIG dogs :lmao:!!!!

People at this dog park are not very 'poop vigilant'. In Norfolk, people have no qualms about saying "Is that your dog? He just built a log cabin over there" but here I saw turds every where. You really have to watch your step. Also, the dogs were running through them. I'd see a fresh pile, then a few minutes later it would be scattered with a paw print in the middle of it.

I wasn't there, but if Yoda was there, my son was there. Yoda does run like a deer. He also attempts to climb trees. :lmao:

Lovely way to expedite the spread of parasites and doggy diseases. :coffee:

One reason I only went to the doggie park in Calvert one time.
Yeah, my pup would enjoy the heck out of a doggie park. Though she is all of 15 pounds she is thrilled to hang with the big dogs, but it seems very high risk. I can't bring myself to do that to her...:dead:

I thought about just grabbing a few bags and policing the area myself, but their bags are big enough for one good sized poop and that's it. Maybe another night I can bring my own bags.

There were some beautiful Rottie's there over the weekend. Three of them to be exact.
We saw them too - next to dusk Sunday, I think... we were the only ones leaving; they were the only ones coming in... :yay:

I take my pups to the grandkids' sporting events and other outside places if dogs are permitted. I pack a "doggie diaper" bag to take with me...plastic bowl, bottle of water and plastic grocery bags/paper towels.

:howdy: Hi Catt! Good plan, it seemed clean last night, but I didn't venture far from the entrance.

Jetmonkey: How many trips/days have you been to the park and seen poop everywhere? Just curious to see how often this is happening? Morning, afternoon, or evening? How many users/dogs in the park when this has occurred?

Kwillia: There are two sides to the dog park. The large side is for large dogs and the smaller size is for smaller dogs and other dogs that are nervous and need gradual introduction.

I have been there a few times walking the grounds, usually in the morning (8:30 - 9:00ish) before any users are there for the day. I have never found poop piles everywhere. Not saying it may not happen, just haven't seen it the days I've been there. Once or twice I have seen a pile, but not often and not in abundance. I have found a toy or two and have removed them from the facility when I find them. All in all, everyone is being very good about keeping it neat.
