Any way you can offer to house sit as well so that he can at least be a monster in his own domian instead of yours?

No. It's too far to drive to their house three times a day. I don't mind having him. It's going to be an adventure, though.

Thanks but they're dropping him off on the 21st. He'll be long gone by then. No, they don't live near you. South of me.

OK. Be ready to play. They will chase sticks and balls till their sticks and balls fall off. If they get restless in the house, this is the easiest way to tire them out.

Chocolate labs are known to be the most energetic of all retrievers and VERY mischievious. You won't be able to keep ANYTHING on your counters, or tables that you don't want them to eat. Labs are smart and they will figure out a way to get something if they want it bad enough.

I know. I've seen him in action. He even opens doors. Damn, I need to buy some of those child proof thingies for door knobs.

Daisy used to open my cabinet doors, and Im sure you all will remember the refrigerator incident. :lol:

I think the refrigerator is the only thing Luke hasn't learned to open.
