I just about threw up after i read that article but i do agree i don't not think it was that dog. i mean if it was the dog would probably of been still locked in when the police got there. it takes them a while once they have gotten in for it to relax and the dog could not just pull it out it does't work like a humans. If that dog was really doing that that woman like any other person would of killed that dog i would have if it was my child and why was the child unattended with the dog anyway. i love my dogs and they love my kids but they are NEVER alone with them, and having the dog i think 2 years (i can't remember what it isaid,) and this never happened before?? just too wierd and SICK, that poor little guy was hurt by probably his own father or even his own mother people are the ones that are sick not dogs and dogs just don't do that they are trained to do the wrong thing a person makes a dog how it is, so if anything it is the humans fault it happened. IMO of coarse. i pray that poor baby recovers. And it could have been any type dog just b/c it was a pit bull does not mean it is there nature. I have owned rottweilers all my life and they are how you breed/train them or lack of training that makes them the way they turn out too be. I agree the dog was probably trying to save the child from whoever was hurting him and was blamed for it b/c of how he had the child so sad.

I've seen dogs that hump on stuffed animals, couch pillows, legs, etc. So why is it impossible that the dog did this? Also, according to the other forum that Catt posted, the mom was changing the boys diaper and sent him into the living room to get a new one, and that's whent he attack occured. I think, unfortunately, getting to the truth in this story is going to be very difficult.

I have a Irish Jack Russell and he humps everything lol...He doesn't do anything to people or legs, he particularly likes his stuffed animal lol...His sister Baylee is starting to do the exact thing...So I would think if the dog was neutered it doesn't make a difference, does it? Then again I don't know a thing about a dogs anatomy lol!

Well figured that considering humans are the same way, but I didn't know if doggies were different. Like I said I don't know anything about that. I leave that up to the vet lol! I call the vet if anything weird happens lol

When a pit bull or Rottweiler attacks, yes you get hurt - it is the breeds fault? No. You will almost always find it was the way it's "OWNER" handled the dog.

Personally I would never own such a small dog as many people like, but I would never support any type of BSL or bigotry against them.
