Doggie Diapers recommendation needed

Help- I am in desperate need to find Doggie Diapers or anything that will help with a dog in heat. Isabelle our Great Dane just went into heat 2 days ago. She is 1 1/2 years old and this is her second cycle. She had her first at 8 months old. This one by far is ALOT worse and we definitely need pads or diapers for her.

I am hoping my husband will finally agree to getting her spayed after this cycle is over. There is no possible way we can handle a little of Danes but he feels that a female dog calms down after having a few cycles. Unfortunately he isn't the one running around cleaning up after her - :(

Are there any stores in the Lexington Park area that carry doggie diapers or products for dogs in heat for X-Large dogs, Isabelle is about 115 lbs. I checked out the local Petco but they only had diapers up to 75 lbs which is way to small for Isabelle.

TIA

doggie diapers

Our dog is in heat too, and we tried those at Petco...don't waste your money!! We bought store brand pampers, cut a hole in them for her tail...they work great!!!!

Depends? They should work, tell hubby to start cleaning or you will take her to get fixed.

Are you for real?

Take the friggin' dog and get her spayed. If hubby complains, get HIM spayed.

You women....sheesh.

no...that is the beauty of using regular disposable diapers, the tabs that hold them on are much stronger then the ones on doggie pads.

:yeahthat: No lie! Besides, there is a horny chihuahua standing on a bucket just waiting around the next corner for your biatch in heat to strut by.

Use regular disposable diapers. After she's out of heat, get her spayed.

Your husband is incorrect. With each passing heat cycle, your dog's chances of developing mammary cancer increase and she become at his risk for the disease..not to mention diseases of the uterus.

:yeahthat: Had to put a dog down this past summer because we were told she was spayed. She never had a heat while she lived her so we never had a reason to doubt it. Turns out she had a uterine disease and she had less than 75% chance of making it through the surgery. Unfortunately I am not rich and I couldn't afford to take the chance of losing her and having a 3000.00 vet bill to boot. Great now I'm crying! :bawl:

Little boys training pants. The tail goes through the fly. Stick a pad in there and you have it made.
