A wash cloth and water...if it's cold out. You know, they've been out in the yard and it's raining..that type of thing. In the summer, I just hose 'em off if they get muddy/dirty. They really don't get dirty though. Biscuit will get his face dirty because he's a digger. He comes in and sits at the bathroom sink and lets mommy wash his face.

You can also use baby wipes..the natural, non-scented ones...they won't cause any irritation for the dogs' skin.

Precious and Roxy will have none of the outside hosed down crap :drama: They gotta have hot water :lmao: They get flithy over at my dad's all day. They come home with grease and everything else from helping him work on cars :lmao:

Ahh...see the joy of Boxers. Make a game out of it and they fall for it every time. I squirt the hose in the air and they love to jump and hop through the water. Then we towel dry.

I too hose my boxer off...he loves it. Now my beagle has a hound smell that sometimes requires a bath. Usually I only bath mine when they are actually dirty. I also use the doggy perfume on them to help for the in-between-bath times. It is fun to chase the beagle throughout the house in order to spray her down with the stuff...for some reason she is terrified of the noise it makes when it sprays out!!!!

I was looking for home remedies to cure the dog pee odor that seems to be inbedded in my carpet (and i steam clean it every other weekend) and I have used vinegar etc. Well this place I found says Vinegar sets the stains! Who knows they may be full of crap w/ their product but they dispute alot of other "home" remedies. I am going to give it a shot I guess. Here is the link: http://www.justrite.com/123kit.htm

I wish i could find a store in MD so I could get it tomorrow and try it out rather than waiting for it to arrive.
