Mayorkas Insults Our Intelligence yet Again When Asked About Biden’s Upcoming ‘Border Visit'

Biden himself has made a similar claim before, during an October 2021 CNN town hall:

“I’ve been there before and I haven’t — I mean, I know it well. I guess I should go down. But the whole point of it is I haven’t had a whole hell of a lot of time to get down.”

Except Joe Biden has never visited the southern border in his entire political career, despite him and other officials lying about it multiple times.

The closest he’s ever come to visiting the border was in October 2008. As the Washington Post explained in a fact check of sorts after the town hall, Biden’s “visit” was actually a mere drive-by as he was on his way to a campaign stop in New Mexico:

But after digging some more, we discovered that Biden briefly drove past the border while on a campaign swing in 2008.
On Oct. 17, he held a rally in Mesilla, N.M. The press officer on the trip, David E. Wade, told The Fact Checker that the plane landed at the El Paso airport and then the motorcade took the nearly one-hour drive to the suburb of Las Cruces. The drive took Biden along a route that for a few minutes hugs the border of the United States and Mexico. “For most of us, it was unfamiliar territory,” Wade said, who recalled that some reporters joked about crossing the border during the event.

FBI Underreports Defensive Gun Use to Congress

According to Lott’s testimony before the U.S. House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security, the FBI grossly underreported the number of times armed citizens had stopped active shooters over an eight-year period from 2014 to 2021.

Lott told members of the subcommittee that the FBI hired academics from Texas State University to find news stories about incidents where active shooter incidents (defined by the agency as incidents in which an individual actively kills or attempts to kill people in a populated, public area) were stopped by armed citizens. Subsequently, the agency reported that armed citizens stopped only 11 of 252 active shooter incidents, or about 4.4 percent.

Despite having a far smaller budget than the FBI, Lott’s group decided to do its own search for such news stories. What he found was quite eye-opening. “We discovered a total of 360 active shooter incidents from 2014 to 2021, and found that an armed citizen stopped 124 of these,” Lott testified. “I also found that the FBI had misidentified five cases, usually because the person who stopped the attack was incorrectly identified as a security guard.”

In my near 66 years thus far, have had only 2 instances of bracing up an intruder. Both times the shotgun, one in the chamber before I confronted them, and high intensity flashlight clamped to the magazine tube convinced them to comply and wait for LEO to come get them.

The 1st, during 1987, was a bit of a surprise as we lived in a small town south of Omaha, NE. Who really expects a burglar, in Nebraska?

2nd time, during 1996, was not much of a surprise as we lived in a town bordering northside Dayton, OH.

Ex-GOP Lawmaker Says House Investigations of FBI, CIA Will 'Shred the Integrity of the Federal Govt'

Enter, ex-Republican Congressman-turned-MSNBC analyst David Jolly and his appearance on Katie Phang’s Saturday morning show. In reaction to the news that McCarthy agreed to organize the committee to investigate alleged abuses by the FBI and CIA in recent years, as reported by NewsBusters, Jolly suggested that Fox News viewers are degenerate drug addicts, desperate for their next fix of government-hating heroin. Great start, right?

Uh-huh, not a hint of bitter hatred there at all, Mr. Jolly.

Never mind, of course, that Elon Musk’s Twitter Files dumps revealed the FBI’s ongoing relationship with the Big Tech platform to suppress or ban news and opinions critical of the Hunter Biden laptop story prior to the 2020 presidential election — not to mention the involvement of the Democrat National Committee and the Joe Biden 2020 presidential campaign. And that’s just for starters.

Anyway, Phang kicked off the festivities by setting the table for Jolly:

David, you served in the House. You’ve been in the room for these types of negotiations. Matt Gaetz was asked why he changed his vote to “present,” and eventually for support of McCarthy. He said that he, quote, ran out of things to ask for.
I mean, how concerned should Americans be about what Kevin McCarthy gave up, what he agreed to behind those closed doors to finally get the gavel he’s been craving for so long?

“Craving”? In other words, Phang suggested that McCarthy desperately wanted to be Speaker and would do anything to make it happen. Jolly followed suit (emphasis, mine):

[T]alk about how [Kevin] got it done, because it’s so critically important. What he gave away, what we know he gave away, was to give more breathing room and more power to the insurrectionists. And we really have to look at it through that context. You’ll hear the insurrectionist caucus talk how, what they did was empower all members to be able to do more on the floor. That’s true!
[…]
[Kevin] handed over the keys to that party, to that group, by now saying you can now have run of the House. I’m going to give you key committee assignments. I’m going to give you the opportunity to shut down the government.
And then secondly, what he gave them that we know, is the formation of what looks like a Church committee from the 1970s.
A House committee where Republicans can shred at the integrity of the federal government, and tell America that your government is spying on you and coming after you. That is at the heart of this; tear down, break down the government. We can’t trust the government. We’re going to topple it.
He just gave them a committee platform to have those hearings. And you better believe that is going to be heroin in the veins of Fox News viewers over the next two years. And undermine our confidence as Americans in self-governance. That’s the danger of what Kevin McCarthy just did.

Yep, no hatred at all.

DOJ Shows Resistance to House Republicans’ Investigations; GOP Says Department Is ‘Scared’

The DOJ foreshadowing an inability to fully cooperate with the committee comes after Jordan contacted the department this past week, in his first communication since becoming committee chairman, to formally request documents, communication, and testimony from numerous DOJ officials.

Jordan’s requests pertained to the committee’s investigations into DOJ’s handling of certain parents attending school board meetings, its role in the southern border crisis, its raids on Mar-a-Lago and Project Veritas employees’ residences, its implementation of the FACE Act (the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act), its execution of January 6 investigations, and other concerns about “alleged politicization and bias.”

The festering rot at the FBI seems bigger and deeper than we ever guessed

By Andrea Widburg

Charles McGonigal, a retired counterintelligence investigator from the FBI’s New York Field Office, was just arrested because he allegedly took substantial sums of money from Oleg Deripaska, a Russian billionaire, to get the latter off a U.S. sanctions list. Where this goes beyond the ordinary corruption that periodically crops up among people with too much power, too few morals, and too little accountability is that McGonigal was one of the people investigating Trump over the Russia Hoax, while Deripaska employed Christopher Steele, whose false dossier seeded the Russia Hoax.
Anyone who paid attention during the “hot” years of the Russia Hoax recognizes Deripaska’s name. He was a close ally of Vladimir Putin and, in 2018, the U.S. government sanctioned him for his involvement in Russia’s 2014 annexation of Crimea. Specifically with regard to the Russia Hoax, in 2021, Jerry Dunleavy summarized how closely allied Steele and Deripaska were:

Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska is known for his ties to President Vladimir Putin, as well as his prior business relationships with Steele and former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort. [snip]
The Senate Intelligence Committee’s 1,000-page report last year found that “the Russian government coordinates with and directs Deripaska on many of his influence operations.”
Steele and his company, Orbis Business Intelligence, worked for Deripaska in 2016, helping recover millions of dollars the Russian oligarch claimed Manafort had stolen from him. Steele sought help in this anti-Trump research effort from Fusion GPS, and the company hired Steele soon after.
The investigation found “multiple links between Steele and Deripaska” and “indications that Deripaska had early knowledge of Steele’s work.” Steele’s continued relationship with Deripaska “provid[ed] a potential direct channel for Russian influence on the dossier.”

Russian oligarch keeps showing up in the most inconvenient places for FBI, Washington elites

Deripaska, a protégé of Russian president Vladimir Putin and once owner of the country's largest aluminum company Rusal, has been courted over the years by a prominent Democrat senator seeking help from his lawyer and FBI agents seeking dirt on Donald Trump, enlisted by the bureau to spend his own money to find a missing FBI agent in Iran and lured into hiring Christopher Steele for a legal project before the former MI-6 agent penned his famous dossier.

Even Hunter Biden once crafted a plan to make money off Deripaska by seeking a handsome $80,000 fee to dig up dirt on the Russian businessman for an American aluminum company.

The efforts to court, cajole and cash in on Deripaska occurred at the same time the U.S. government was casting the Russian as a potentially nefarious actor who should be kept from U.S. shores.

In the early 2000s, it was the State Department alleging, with scant public evidence, that the Russian was tied to organized crime or brutal killings. In 2016, he became a focal point of the FBI efforts to prove Donald Trump colluded with Russia to hijack the 2016 election, an allegation that proved spurious. And in 2018, he was sanctioned by the Treasury Department as an ally of Putin and Russian influence campaigns and later indicted by the Justice Department.

Fix is in: FBI bungling case against Biden over top-secret documents

At every stage, the FBI has adopted an approach that would compromise or complicate any criminal charge.

The FBI left the home untouched for over three months after classified documents were found in Biden’s former office in DC. While it was recently learned that the FBI did go to that office a couple weeks later, they reportedly elected to have personal counsel for the president conduct searches on the residences. Biden then spent weeks traveling to these residences after the FBI waited to search the premises.

The private searches clearly went through these documents and moved (and potentially organized) material. Despite being given the opportunity to conduct and record the initial searches, the FBI will now have to rely on the accounts of private counsel on how these documents were originally left, including any visible classification markings.

He also knows what’s at stake, and if you’re wondering if this is all about politics, yes, it is. Doing what’s right can take a hike right now. It’s about maintaining our grip on the lower chamber—we must keep Santos where he is, barring a criminal indictment. That’s the red line, and the Left knows it, which is why the FBI is investigating Santos over a GoFundMe campaign from 2016 (via NBC News):

The FBI is speaking with a Navy veteran who recently alleged that Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y., essentially stole thousands of dollars from an online fundraising campaign intended to cover lifesaving surgery for his service dog.
Richard Osthoff told NBC News on Wednesday that he had been on the phone with the FBI and provided all requested records and information, including text messages dating back to his exchanges with Santos in 2016 about raising $3,000 for his dog Sapphire.
“I’m elated the big guys finally picked it up,” Osthoff said. “I turned over all my text messages and I’m in the process of turning over everything related to the GoFundMe campaign."
Politico first reported on the scope of the FBI's investigation. An FBI spokesman in New York declined comment, as did a spokesperson for the Eastern District of New York.
Osthoff's allegations drew national attention after Patch.com first reported on his claims that the funds Santos helped raise on GoFundMe through a charity group linked to the lawmaker were never made available.

All of this over a dead dog?

Given the FBI’s penchant for doing the Democrats’ dirty work, I’m skeptical. The investigation's timing after the media torched this man is suspect. From lying about his heritage—he claimed to be Jewish—to being exposed as a possible drag queen in Brazil, nothing has worked to force Santos from his post. He’s learned: you never cave to the Left or their rules; you play by them. Never apologize; doubling down is the game here, and liberals need something criminal to move the needle. Kurt has a great column about how Santos is not only a “legend” but also not all that worse than the other scum that infests the Capitol building. That building is not a church—it’s a cesspool. Even if the shadier stuff is true, it sounds like Santos is at home.

Biden’s ‘Cooperation’ With The FBI Is Meaningless And Misleading

These searches of Biden’s home and private papers came just a few months after the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago for the identical crime of mishandling classified documents. The Biden situation is arguably worse since he allegedly retained classified documents from his Senate tenure, which doesn’t have any declassification authority that comes with the presidency. But now after weeks of breathless speculation about how the Justice Department prosecution could be used to keep Trump from running for president again, the media are at pains to explain why Trump’s crimes are somehow worse than Biden’s.

And so the media haven’t coalesced so much as collapsed around a central narrative: Biden’s violations of the law are somehow excused because he’s fully cooperating with the FBI investigation. As Exhibit A, here’s The New York Times write-up on the latest FBI search of Biden’s home:

WASHINGTON — The F.B.I. is conducting a search of President Biden’s vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Del., the president’s personal lawyer said on Wednesday morning, as investigators continue looking into his possession of classified documents.
The search, like at least two others conducted at locations associated with Mr. Biden, was undertaken with the cooperation of the president and his legal team. It was not clear whether any documents were recovered at the beach house.
“Today, with the president’s full support and cooperation, the D.O.J. is conducting a planned search of his home in Rehoboth, Del.,” Bob Bauer, Mr. Biden’s personal lawyer, said in statement.“Under D.O.J.’s standard procedures, in the interests of operational security and integrity, it sought to do this work without advance public notice, and we agreed to cooperate.”

“Massive new building” is actually an understatement. Your taxpayer dollars are set to be used for a staggeringly massive new FBI complex that will be double the size of the Pentagon. If you have ever flown into Washington, you can often see the Pentagon from the air and get a clear idea of how immense it is. Now the feds will have a playground that makes the Pentagon look like some third-tier accountant’s cubicle.

J. Michael Waller, senior analyst for strategy at the Center for Security Policy, adds the thoroughly unsurprising news that “riveted into the colossal new project are woke regulations to ensure that the FBI center will comply with diversity, equity, LGBTQ+, and climate change political goals.” The current FBI building, one of the ugliest in Washington, covers two city blocks. The new headquarters “will be built on one of three sites in suburban Virginia and Maryland. Those sites are large parcels of 58, 61, and 80 acres. That means, at minimum, the new FBI headquarters complex would be twice the size of the Pentagon building.” That will be true despite the fact that “covering about 29 acres plus a five-acre courtyard, the Pentagon, until recently, was the largest office building on earth.” The new FBI may even end up being bigger than the Kremlin, which covers 66 acres.

Why does the FBI need all this space? The better to surveil you with, my dear. The better to make your life miserable if you happen to have been in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021. The better to hound you if you’re a parent who is angry because your child has been subjected to the critical race theory in primary school. The better to harass and terrorize you if you’re a pro-life activist. The better to manufacture “white supremacist terrorists” so as to justify the bureau’s ridiculous claims about what constitutes the largest terror threat the nation faces today.

Then there is all the space the Brave New FBI needs to coordinate election crimes and stamp out “misinformation,” that is, news that deviates from the Democrat Party line. And if Donald Trump or any other Republican is elected president in 2024, there will need to be a new hoax along the lines of the Russian Collusion fiction in order to portray the dissident president as a traitor or, at the very least, an irresponsible loose cannon who cannot be trusted to lead “our democracy.” That’s going to require a great deal of office space. And even if the Democrats run the table in 2024, which is more likely than not given their mastery of ballot harvesting, mail-in ballots, and all the rest, there will still be pockets of resistance, pesky MAGA Republicans who refuse to submit. Oh yes, the FBI is going to be very, very busy for years to come.

FBI Declares War on Traditional Catholics in Insidious New Intelligence Report

Instead, it relies on the discredited Southern Poverty Law Center (even pre-Elon Musk Twitter didn’t trust them) and its list of “Radical Traditional Catholicism Hate Groups.” According to one source, “The SPLC appears to be a source for the intelligence analyst’s beliefs that RTCs exist and that they are anti-Semitic. The SPLC description for this “hate group” states RTCs “may make up the largest single group of serious anti-semites in America.”

Other sources for this attack on Christians include the left-leaning Salon and The Atlantic. These two leftist publications regularly demean and slander conservatives–and it seems their inclusion in this FBI report is merely to tie Catholics to right-leaning political performance artists like Nick Fuentes and Milo Yiannopolis, whose tired schtick appeals to lonely teenage boys and certainly doesn’t intersect with the Catholic Church in the Venn diagram of life in the United States.

So, what is the FBI to do about those pesky Catholics and their rosary-praying ways? Infiltrate them, apparently. This:

The speculative increase in RMVE interactions with RTC leads the writer to suggest mitigation strategies, including recruiting Confidential Human Sources (“source development”), tripwire, and liaison contacts. Tripwires and liaisons are overt contacts with trusted members of a community or an industry. They can advise law enforcement about potentially illegal activity. Due to the fact that “white supremacy” is itself a First Amendment-protected belief, to say nothing of proponents of the most established Christian denomination in the world, the Bureau tries to cover documents like these with a caveat excusing their intrusion into the sacrosanct grounds of free exercise of religion and free association. In another typical intrusion into First Amendment concerns, the document implies a strategy of monitoring social media for RTC ideology in online posts.

I mean, the FBI is welcome to infiltrate the weekly Knights of Columbus meeting, but they’ll likely to be disappointed to find out that insurrection isn’t on the menu, but BBQ chicken and a planning meeting for a Toys for Tots drive. It’s just more of the same from the left, who are looking for any means necessary to attack Christians and conservatives. The compiler of this report is acting with a clear bias, which is not surprising in this day and age when the FBI is weaponized to act against every day Americans.

FBI whistleblower raises fresh concerns about bank record mining, undercover agents in J6 probe

Hill said supervisors in the Washington field office pressured to open cases, first on seven individuals who came up in a sweep of bank records provided by Bank of America, and then on the larger group of 140 Americans who paid to take bus rides to President Donald Trump's now infamous rally on Jan. 6, 2021, the day a mob overran police lines and flooded into the Capitol as Congress met to certify the 2020 election results. He credited his supervisors in Boston for resisting the pressure.

"There's no evidence of a crime being committed here," he said during a wide-ranging interview on the "Just the News, No Noise" television show. "We cannot open up preliminary investigations on someone for using a financial instrument in the District. And so they pushed back, and Boston did not take any action on those names."

Hill also said the Washington field office, which led the Jan. 6 probe, did not react well to the refusal, escalating up the chain of command, but at each step of the process the Boston office held its ground. "Getting on a bus and participating in a political rally is not predication for a crime or a preliminary investigation," he said, explaining why Boston resisted.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, told Just the News on Wednesday night that Hill's information provided an essential roadmap for his select subcommittee's investigation into potential weaponization of law enforcement agencies like the FBI.

"I appreciate this brave whistleblower coming forward," Jordan said in an interview. "He’s worked in the military and then as an FBI agent. And he gave us a lot of valuable information that will be the foundation for our weaponization investigation going forward."

Former FBI agent asks Congress to ban 'reverse targeting' of Americans via 'incidental' loophole

Thomas Baker, a 33-year veteran who had harsh words for former Director Robert Mueller's remaking of the FBI, explained the practice of "reverse targeting" at the request of Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.).

The CIA and NSA will often spy on Americans via the "incidental" collection loophole by looking for foreigners unrelated to an investigation who are close to those American targets, Baker said.

It's a "phony and false" pretense at odds with their statutory requirement to turn over any legitimately collected incidental communications that suggest wrongdoing to the FBI, he said.

"We've collected millions of exobytes of data" that are supposedly just incidental communications to a legitimate foreign target, Massie said, wondering if those communications have become "the entire universe" rather than the exception.

FBI suffers fresh bias episode, retracts intel memo portraying Catholics as extremist threats

"Upon learning of the document, FBI Headquarters quickly began taking action to remove the document from FBI systems and conduct a review of the basis for the document," it added. "The FBI is committed to sound analytic tradecraft and to investigating and preventing acts of violence and other crimes while upholding the constitutional rights of all Americans and will never conduct investigative activities or open an investigation based solely on First Amendment protected activity."

The memo surfaced Wednesday in a blog post from Seraphin and suggested that Catholics who prefer to celebrate Mass in the traditional Latin language posed a risk of white supremacism and violence.

The intelligence memo stated that the FBI assessed with "high confidence" that radical traditional Catholics — referred to as RTCs — were prone to "anti-Semitic, anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ and white supremacist ideology." It urged agents to try to counter the threat from such Catholics through various investigative strategies that include "source development."

The memo appears to have derived some of its intelligence concerns from information from the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center, citing the group's list entitled "Radical Traditional Catholicism Hate Groups."

FBI HQ Retracting Richmond Field Office Document Targeting ‘Radical Traditionalist Catholics’

The FBI office cited two articles from Salon.

The best citation? That hilarious article in The Atlantic that describes the Rosary as an extremist weapon.

So the FBI Richmond office got its information from the Southern Poverty Law Center and three left-wing media organizations.

The FBI has not done a damn thing about the hundreds of Catholic Churches targeted after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. They’ve only charged two people in connection with an attack on some pregnancy centers in Florida.

There have been 275 attacks on Catholic Churches since 2020. There have been 118 since last May when someone leaked the opinion overturning Roe v. Wade. I wrote about those stats in late January. The number probably went up.

This motivates me to keep violence and threats against Catholics in everyone’s faces.

🔥 Oh, FBI. The Washington Examiner ran a story yesterday headlined, “FBI HQ disavows FBI field office intel report targeting ‘Radical Traditionalist Catholics’.”

The FBI’s report described conservative catholics who prefer the latin mass as being prone to commit racial and ethnic violence, because they follow Jesus. The report suggested having agents infiltrate several conservative catholic activist groups. And as you know, after infiltration, something always seems to come up, like an FBI fednapping plot or an insurrection or something.

Here’s the header of the totally, 100% unconstitutional report directing that US Government secret police operatives infiltrate mainstream religious groups trying to trick some gullible fool into committing any kind of actionable crime, which can then be used to round up everybody else as a co-conspirators:

Haha, new mitigation opportunities! That means YOU. You pesky “tradcon” Catholics are the FBI’s “new mitigation opportunity.”

“Mitigation” is a dry, mechanical, bureaucratic euphemism for permanently taking you off the chessboard. That’s how they mitigate you. Kind of like how Hitler mitigated the Jewish problem, except in 2023 they’re only locking people up forever in a DC jail, instead of the other thing.

(Note: there was never any good reason to have all those January 6th case backlogs causing the extended ‘no bail’ jail times. The DOJ could easily have sent cases back to defendants’ home jurisdictions all across the country instead of hauling citizens back to DC and overloading the dockets. But the DOJ knew the defendants couldn’t get a fair trial in DC. So they let those poor, innocent Americans rot in jail. Not one DC judge granted any of the defendants’ many motions for a change of venue, despite the plain juror bias, and despite the courts’ overloaded dockets.)

The FBI has found a gateway to declare Christians as criminals: federal whistleblower

An internal document from the bureau’s Richmond, Virginia, field office allegedly vowed to spy on "radical traditionalist Catholics and their ideology."

"They have found a gateway in what they think is fringe Catholicism in order to move into Christians in general and declare them to be the actual criminals in this country or the potential terrorists," federal whistleblower and former FBI agent Kyle Seraphin said.

Seraphin said the document is antithetical to Catholicism and was written by someone who believes abortion rights must be upheld and the LGBTQ agenda "has to be pushed down the American people’s throats."
