We went on Friday and picked up some last minute 'stuff', and on the way out the cashier asked me if I was military.. cause yanno I look so young and studly..
I replied, "retired" and she asked for ID, and we saved almost $70

Actually, this was the first weekend in a long time that I haven't been to Lowes. 
With it being packed, could've been a good day to find a future ex-gf, but then again, their return policy sucks 
As much as I spend at Lowe's, on my salary, I need to bring home either a sugar momma or an employee discount.

BF and I went to get a new AC unit....we went to the new Home Depot they just opened up right next to Lowe's (in Middletown, DE). They had a 10,000 BTU for $199....and we had a 10% off coupon since the store was new. So, we went nextdoor to Lowe's, and they had a 10,000 BTU for $208. We asked them to match Home Depot's price...and they did...plus gave us an extra 10% off!! And it was a better brand name too!! 
I love Lowe's.
