OH YEAH..... real safe....

BTW, been meaning to ask how the trip to NY went. Make it over the bridges and stuff ok? Any adventures to report??

My guy left here 4:30 am, went over near Cape May, up to Nesconset, GW, Throgs Neck, then 3 stops near Harrisburg PA, 650 miles or so. Got back at midnight! No adventures. Just him and his dad. He said the nightmare slow part was getting back off LI and getting West of NYC.

He went last Friday; rain ALL day.

$72 in tolls. :yikes:

:buddies: I thought the same thing, lefty should be my strong side but it isn't. Was talking to a guy who also rides who is a righty and he thought about it a second and said he was the same way.

What direction does your camshaft spin?? I wonder if it has a gyroscopic effect making it easier to lean in one directon over the other.

Wait, never mind.. just pictured a Harley engine in my head.. your's would rotate forward or backwards, not left to right..

I rode for a couple hours this evening and didn't stall out... :howdy:
:smack: I did too... so there! And I retested the neutral/start interlock. I tried it in the garage and it would NOT start in gear with the clutch pulled in. Had to be in neutral. Tried it again later when I stopped, because I just didn't believe it, still did not start in gear. Tried it again this evening, and lo and behold, it started in gear with the clutch pulled in, but not if the clutch was out. I must have a sticky switch somewhere.

Yeah, that's why I warned ya. Not cheap even for a car. Getting off the island is always an experience no matter how many times you've done it.

Yup, mine is fore-aft. It is not mechanical it is psychological  I am just more comfortable throwing it right than left. :shurg:
