I love that cat, and how the hell is he making out on that dog farm of yours.

Pretty good, surprisingly. I brought DQ's puppy in for a little while, and she went right for Fluff's food bowl, and Fluff just sat there and let her have at it. He looked at her kinda sideways, like "WTF kinda cat are you supposed to be?" and that was the end of that. He's the only pet allowed indoors all the time so he knows he's the king.Kizzy said:I love that cat, and how the hell is he making out on that dog farm of yours.
Fluff didn't find that too funny.Kizzy said:Hey, that is an idea. Keep the dog, let them chase the cat, and that sucker will be slimmed down in no time. Ok, it might take a year.

Pooh Kitty does the same thing. He will stop meowing if you pretend to put food in his bowl. Everytime I say that it is dinner time, PK thinks he gets to sit at the table and eat too, so he jumps up onto one of the chairs and patiently waits for his meal.Kizzy said:What I find strange about my cat is he wants fresh food everyday. He could have food in his bowl and he will still come upstairs and meow at me like he is staving straight to death. I will look in his bowl and SEE food. If I leave, he will follow me meowing. Now, I put the old in the bag, shake the bag and put food back into his bowl.
I don't know, but it doesn't matter. Cats are perfect.Lenny said:Why do cats race you to the stairs, run halfway up or down then stop and lay down across the stair where you HAVE to trip over them or step on them?
Yes. And she'll do it for the rest of her life.sockgirl77 said:I made the mistake of giving my cat a can of tuna a few years ago. She comes running into the kitchen whenever she hears the can opener now. Do all cats do this?
she's my neighbor's cat now. i'll still visit her. she still gets tuna. but she does still eat regular food, though. just talked to a friend of mine and she says that her cat won't touch her dry food now that she has spoiled her with tuna. she will eat the wet food but smacks her dry food out of the way.K_Jo said:Yes. No more tuna!
I remember a thread not too long ago about how bad tuna is for kitties. I can't remember everything, but I know it can hurt them. And we don't want that.sockgirl77 said:she's my neighbor's cat now. i'll still visit her. she still gets tuna. but she does still eat regular food, though. just talked to a friend of mine and she says that her cat won't touch her dry food now that she has spoiled her with tuna. she will eat the wet food but smacks her dry food out of the way.
i'll pass that info on. thanks. i've never heard that before. i'm gonna do a google search on that. seems strange b/c most of the cat food has fish in it.K_Jo said:I remember a thread not too long ago about how bad tuna is for kitties. I believe it's specifically tuna. Something about the mercury content. :shrug:sockgirl77 said:i'll pass that info on. thanks. i've never heard that before. i'm gonna do a google search on that. seems strange b/c most of the cat food has fish in it.

Mine does the same thing. There will be food in the bowl, but he won't eat it unless I top it off with more food.Kizzy said:What I find strange about my cat is he wants fresh food everyday.
