It would be nice to see "THE "KING" & 43 Car back in Victory Lane again ! I grew up watching Richard Petty and his STP 43 car .

The lady that ran the Richard Petty museum in Level Cross, NC was from Calvert County. We stopped in to say hi to Mark and Richie Petty, Maurice's boys, who raced Late Models against us with the same car number, 41. We swapped team shirts and then got kicked out of the shop by Lee Petty, who did so without getting off of the John Deere tractor he was on! They were all afraid of their Grand Daddy before he died, as he was one tough somebody.
