Dr. Brubaker changed practices. If you search here, there's another pediatrician thread that say which one, but I'm not gonna look it up now.

Thanks. I will look for it.

We have. Wife has had problems to the point of Dr. Miller's wife calling to beg us not to change Dr. We refuse to use the L'town office because of the staff there. Our insurance does not care if it's been under a year since last kid visit. Miller's office canceled a scheduled appt. one time because they saw it was less than a year. Wife tore them a new one. Now when she calls to make the appt. and they try saying they can't, she just says "Put Miller's wife on the phone, NOW" no problems after that.
:yeahthat: Last time I had problems, I got to meet Mrs. Miller. She came and found me when I was in there for an appt.

Last time I tried to make an appointment, I was there for a sick visit and looking to make a well visit appointment for last month, they told me I was trying to make an appointment ONE EFFING DAY EARLY :jameo: I said, "then call Mrs. Miller out here and ..."

Before I finished my sentance, the receptionist was offering my anytime I wanted on the day I wanted.

My kids go to Dr. Miller and I really like his the drs. The receptionists however are not very good and cn be rude but I'm not there for them. I would speak to Dr. Miller about the way you were treated and see what he has to say. He does get backed up here and there but not all the time. But what you have to understand is he doesn't turn down sick patients and will stay till the last one is seen and will also be at the hospital when needed. My son was in there at 5 weeks and he called and came to the hospital to check on him. He has taken my children in when they were sick even though it was after closing time.

I left because of the front staff. I loved Dr. Miller but the staff's attitude got a little old. My oldest daughter was a patient there for 4 years. I use to have to take her 2 times a week for allergy shots for a year. Then it went down to 1 time a week for 2 years. So I have been to that office a lot! Dr. Miller has rushed me out of the office a few times when I was there for a well visit but I know it was because he was busy. I wasn't trying to hog his time, just had a couple questions. He should spend more then 10 minutes with a person. I still think he is great though. He knows my boss and recognizes me whenever he sees me. I know that they don't turn away sick patients and they shouldn't. I have also been sitting in the waiting room and overheard the front staff complaining about emergencies and how they get sick of it. I have also heard the nurse practioner complain that it was 5:30 and she is sick of seeing people for the day and wished we would all go home so she could go home. I don't think they ever finish at 5:00 and that would get frustrating but you shouldn't complain where your patients can hear it. I work in the dental field and I deal with emergencies everyday. It can get stressful.

My point is that he needs to re-evaluate who he has working there. He may know they are snotty and have no problem with it. Who knows.

Did you ever say anything to him about the front staff? If I would have heard them say things like that I would have said something to them and him. But then again I can have a big mouth at times. So I do understand what you are saying and would get tired of it after a while to. Luckily I have not heard them that bad.

Never said anything to them or Dr. Miller. I just talk about them behind their back  I'm not trying to get anyone fired.

When it comes to my kids I will say something, especially since I had to switch to him for an awful reason. He knows about asthma which my son had or still can have and not to many around here that do. He listens to all my questions and calls to check on them if they have been sick.
