Thanks

My mom went to Rozran for severe knee pain. He told her she was favoring that knee and should just start walking normal and she'd get over it. Ma knew there was much more to it than that... got a 2nd opinion and it turned out she needed a complete knee replacement. Not only was she "bone on bone", she had worn away enough bone that with each step she had bone spurs rubbing and the new doc couldn't figure out how she managed to keep walking as well as she did.BadGirl said:I would absolutely never go to Rozran again. He kept pushing his agenda of orthopeadic options, when, in fact I had nerve damage. THe herniated discs became secondary to my nerve issue. Anyway, all the recommendations that Rozran made to me (physical therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, and steroid shots) only made my particular issue more painful. All the movement of muscle and so forth just aggreviated the nerve, which when I ultimately went in for surgery two weeks ago, the nerve looks so aggrevated that it resembled ground beef.
But who knows..... I can only speaking from my own experience with him. I'm sure that there are other people out there who are thrilled with his work, and would recommend him to others.
If you find that you have nerve damage moreso than orthopaedic damage, I'd be glad to recommend the doctor that just worked on my back. Just two hours after surgery, and still in the recovery room, I KNEW with all certainty that I felt better than I did before the surgery. As a matter of fact, I felt better than I had in 12 years. I'm still recovering, but know in 6 weeks, I'm gonna feel great!
Good luck to you!

I loved Dr. Travis is Leonardtown and if I have any more issues I will pay out of pocket to go see him again.
The jerk was probably talking about me.happyappygirl said:....dictated this about the patient before me, who was continuing to have back pain even after surgery: "mri was clear; a hypochondriac and i passed her on" ...
this was recent as in last week. i hope it wasn't you..He kept saying to her..."now....you DO feel just a little better after surgery, right?" Like, well I've done what i can do for you, and you DO feel better....He told the woman, "I have NO problem if you want to see someone else, here is a guy you can see." i felt TERRIBLE for the poor woman. I know what it's like to continue to have pain after surgery...my knee has been giving me trouble since i had surgery on it several years ago, and this recent ACL thing might have been a long time coming....BadGirl said:The jerk was probably talking about me.
Maybe your insurance will cover Dr. Herron. He is absolutely wonderful!!!!!!!!!! Contact info is listed below just in case. Good luck!virgovictoria said:I am seeing Dr. Rozran and I am not impressed at all. I feel like I am caught between a rock and a hard place with insurance coverage though...
I have another appointment with him again next week and I just shudder at trying to decipher what it is he isn't telling me - I can't even get a diagnosis.
He isn't very thorough, his office staff perplexes me and I am not even sure what the short term/long term route of treatment is supposed to be. I am going to end up running out of PT time and referral visits and be no better off.
