Did AOC Exaggerate the Danger She Was in During Capitol Riot?
AOC was targeted with another round of bad-faith smears after giving an emotional account of her experiences during the Capitol riot.
And that is what gets me about Snopes - they go through SO MANY CONTORTIONS to validate the left, they can't see how ridiculous their article is.
It's CLEAR that AOC is trying - AFTER THE FACT - to make the case that she WAS in danger. I get that her furtive imagination probably believed it while it was happening. You know, just like you believe that sound you heard down your hallway is an intruder and scares you to death.
But she didn't make this video - LIVE. She's concocting a story that she WAS in danger - when she never was. It's BS for Snopes to say "oh but she never SAID she was in the Capitol". So the hell what? She's trying to say she was in danger. And that's a lie. Maybe she THOUGHT she was in danger, at the time. But once she made the video, she knew she was NEVER in danger.

Re-reading it - the piece is to dispute that she EXAGGERATED THE DANGER SHE WAS IN.
Nothing in the piece refutes that claim. She was NEVER in danger.

Because - as I’ve observed - they don’t just disagree with the right. They think it’s evil. And when you engage in black and white thinking - as say, in a religion - opposing views MUST be evil.
Therefore - a threat. They can’t go to “sure, try it YOUR way - we know it won’t work “.
That’s how the right thinks, because they don’t think everything has a solution and every opposing view is EVIL (instead of idiotic and unwise). Nope. Has to be the end of the world.

Nope. Across the street. In a building that was NEVER ENTERED by protesters. Which means despite its proximity to the Capitol she was never in any more danger than you or I were that day.
For her to illustrate her fear on a video, she might as well been talking about a spider she missed, trying to swat. I HAVE seen stupid comments by people online who DO BELIEVE she was in danger. Because that was the point of the video. We know from the famous “crying by the fence while looking at a parking lot “ picture, she’s not above making completely fake stories.

I know everyone is excited about the video footage being released but we shouldn’t take our foot off the gas. You still need to see the separation agreement Pittman negotiated with Manger and all the NDAs USCP employees were forced to sign under Pittman and Manger to conceal the dereliction and malfeasance in the preparation for what occurred on J6 when the intelligence was there. My tweets don’t go far anymore as I released too much information here on X so I had to be muted. Additionally, it’s looking more and more likely I won’t be allowed to testify before Congress as my testimony would be DAMNING so someone else will have to pick up the baton. God bless. I just recently ran across this video. I totally missed it when it aired in August. 
I know Steve pretty well. He is highly respected. I worked closely with him in my work, so did my dad and my husband.
Simply put, I really respect this guy.

I did catch something at the 26 minute mark. I wonder if you will catch it also - he mentions a name I was surprised to hear. I wonder if he made a mistake.
