Description:
Drive-Ins.com is a database of all the drive-in theaters in North America.

What We Think:
Drive-in theaters are quite fun, especially when you're hanging out with a big group of friends. And if you're wondering which theater is closest to you, just rummage through the site's database to find out.

Best Feature:
Check out the "Drive-in Museum" and get a taste of history.

I really wish that drive-in theaters would make a come back. I remember going as a little girl ... getting to wear my pjs and fall asleep in the back was way cool!!!

I'm disappointed, I thought this was going to be about drive-in liquor stores.

Where was the one on 235?
Where the old Lowe's building is - which is now BAE Systems.

There also used to be a drive-in in Prince Frederick in Calvert county where the emissions inspection station now is.

Where BAE SYSTEMS is now, where Lowes used to be before they moved next to Staples. I remember that by the time I was driving and wanting to go to that one, the screen was gone, and the parking area was overrun with weeds and grass. In fact, it may have already been built over by the time I started driving... I do seem to remember that the posts where the speakers were jutted up through the brush.

Now, I drive by this one every day.

Had a lot of fun at drive-ins. They had a great one in Honolulu that used your car radio for the sound.

We had a drive-in up here for 1 whole season. It was at the race track on Friday and Saturday nights after the races. Then they decided to have night racing and that was the end of the drive-in. I sure do miss it. :frown:

I am so very blessed
I recall going to the old drive in on 235 years ago. My first movie there was "Night of the Living Dead." I must have been about 6 or so - it FREAKED me out!!! I still don't like scary movies.....

I also recall going to a "dirty" drive-in in TN when I was about 17 or so. It was pretty scary, too. I was so innocent back then.... But I got over it.
