Not sure on the prices of the other fish but when did hake, mahi mahi or grouper become a substitute for cod?

This fish is a bit more flavorful (fishy) than the "cod" I am use to, not much but noticable.

Was it real Cod, or a like substitute, such as Haddock, Pollack, Black Cod, Stripped Bass, Hake, Mahi Mahi, or Grouper?

Word of advice. Don't just buy the dinner. Get some shrimp as well. Make it worth the trip. Shrimp are great cold as well if you can't eat it all at one sitting.

They are a very tasty fish that is certain, as for me not asking, why should I have to? I personally don't eat what I cannot identify I won't touch farmed shrimp or salmon either.

Wife and I got there at 5:08. About 35 cars ahead of us. I think it went pretty quick. We got 4 combos and a lb of shrimp. Everyone enjoyed the meal a lot. Thanks folks. We will probably go back at least once more.
