JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A teenager skateboarding with friends was fatally struck by a driver who swerved to avoid a cat in the road, police said.

I hit a cat once, it appeared out of thin air. Horrible. Took me a long time to get over it.

I inadvertently hit a gorgeous red bird last week. It is still embedded in my grill. I didn't even realize that I had hit it until I noticed a stench in the garage from where I'd park my vehicle.

That poor beautiful bird. But I am damn sure not going to ding up my truck in favor of saving a bird, regardless of how pretty it might be.

sorry, not in a good mood today I read the sarcastic response in the driving thread and then saw this one back to back where he was a little offensive towards me... but you are correct. Name calling is not nice.
