I just saw ATT offering the $15 a month data plan with the BB Torch. This is an excellent benefit for the consumer.
However, how will they implement this. What will they do if the consumer goes over their data limit? If it's Verizon you know they ream you a huge bill. Now we know the technology is there for them to easily stop any data when you reach your limit or at least send you some sort of warning. The avg user will not know how much data they are consuming on a daily basis ESPECIALLY on android phones that have apps/widgets that may be constantly updating data.
The problem with the ATT offer is 1) who is not already locked in to a contract already?
2) Is it worth breaking a contract? Cancellation fee + $720($30 x 24 months data) Two years of Data is $720!!
Might be worth it.
