I'm trying to think of something to cook for Christmas dinner and was thinking about trying a prime rib. I've never cooked one before so I was looking a different recipes and ran across this. Is it worth the time?

Moms always turns out amazing, she just using a mustard (I will get the details later) and black peppercorn in the roster. And done.

I prefer my prime rib well done so I cook it on a higher heat and cook it longer.

I do like Paula Deen's house seasoning, but with this next roast ( I have two! ) I'm going to stuff slivered garlic into the roast, so the rub will just be the salt and pepper.
