I've never been a coffee drinker, I know most everyone is but I've never been a fan of beverages served hot. I did however have an iced coffee drink a few weeks ago and have recently become an addict. My question is...I noticed that they sell iced coffee for the Keurig machines. Now here comes the dumb question part. Is the iced coffee served at restaurants, coffee houses etc. different than just buying regular coffee and putting it on ice with some skim milk and sugar?
Kona coffee is good for that kinda thing. If you make a 12 cup pot strong enough that you cannot see through it; it will work nicely.
If you grind your own whole bean Kona into a powder right before you brew it, it works and tastes better.
The bean to powder ratio, you might have to adjust to get the strength of coffee you want; but it's GOOOOOD!
