East Coast Honeymoon

Yea, I stayed at a really nice B&B... I'm still racking my brain to figure out where it was exactly and what it was called. It had a HUGE bed, nice private balcony, jacuzzi in the bathroom and all the cool guy fixtures.

They served a bottle of wine (complementary)... and cheese.

The one I stayed at in Marblehead was called 'Tidecrest By The Sea' but I don't think it's open right now. I did a search for it and only found real estate listings showing it had been sold a few months ago for $2.1 million. I loved that it was right on the ocean and the waves were literally crashing on the sea wall foundation of the house. Lulled me to sleep in record time.

I remember them serving finger foods when we got there but it was the fresh muffins still hot from the local bakery they served every morning that got me.

Needless to say, I didn't need the TV (yep, I'm a dude).

I don't get the connection. I'm a gal and could easily live without TV.

I also went on a whale watching trip from there.

That would be cool and is on my bucket list. :yay:

We've been to Hilton Head Island the last several years and love it. If you stay up on the main part of the island, there are a ton of restaurants around. Outlet shopping is just off island, Savannah, GA (as someone else mentioned) is about an hour away and would make a great day trip. The beach is fantastic!
