I don't think so. You came across very negative so people like Toxic made comments that were negative towards eastern religions eventhough what they really had negative feelings towards was you.
Yeah so much for "ethnocentricity". :lmao:

WAIT!! are you calling me "uneducated?" well i never

The difference of what I stated and what you stated was that I from the beginning put uneducated with "interpersonal communication." You on the other hand made a general statement with the word. You may not have meant it that way but that is how you stated it and that is how everyone who made a comment took it.

i am making fun of you, it's part of interpersonal communication. you should learn to enjoy it, otherwise it can be irritating.

fighting a war
bangin' a whore
isn't it great to be free?
i saw all that #### on TV
couldn't ask for anything else
but a drink at the bar
and might buy a new car
though i can't afford gas
this famine will pass
our government told us
all lies that they sold us
blocking my visions
filling their prisons
crowding my sight
but with all of my might
i try and i cry
to be free
and to see
just what it is
we're meant to be
losing self
nothing else
find release
and some peace
just a dream
it would seem
but what could it mean?

Adults use encyclopedias when in doubt:

An ethnic group is a group of people who identify with one another, or are so identified by others(in this case, me), on the basis of a boundary that distinguishes them from other groups. This boundary may take any of a number of forms -- racial, cultural, linguistic, economic, religious, political -- and may be more or less porous. Because of this boundary, members of an ethnic group are often presumed to be culturally or biologically similar, although this is not in fact necessarily the case.
wikipedia.org

ethnocentrism: the feeling that one's group has a mode of living, values, and patterns of adaptation that are superior to those of other groups. It is coupled with a generalized contempt for members of other groups. Ethnocentrism may manifest itself in attitudes of superiority or sometimes hostility. Violence, discrimination, proselytizing, and verbal aggressiveness are other means whereby ethnocentrism may be expressed.

As you can see it's a liberal use of wording, but not an improper one
you may even go as far as to say that i'm egocentric for stating my point so fervently but whatever nobody's perfect. sometimes you have to take a step backward to take two steps forward
let the flaming begin
thank you, good morning.

Slow down Sparky.

I never said anything negative about eastern religions in this thread. Much like our self-styled Shiva never said anything negative about Christianity.

In order to make a point, I made a negative comment against Buddhists in general and dazed&confused in particular.

And I think everyone here knows that was a deliberate blanket statement in order to make a point.
