Easy recipe for Fried Sauerkraut

Great compliment to everything else on the Thanksgiving table.
1 serving ea. for approx. 6 people.


fully cook 4 strips of bacon and then set aside.
Dice 1 large onion and sautee in the bacon grease.
add 1 (48 oz) can of sauerkraut (do not drain).
Cook all contents down for about an hour with pan lid on
until sauerkraut has sort of a dried looking hash brown consistency.
Crumble up the 4 strips of bacon and add it to the dish.
