Easy Walk dog harness WAHOO !!!!!! Latina Marie available :)

ArkRescue

Adopt me please !
Let just say ..... that Latina Marie aka Tina the GSD mix puppy was trying my last nerves with the pulling on the leash. I swear she'd be a great lead mush dog! We had a meet and greet with 2 ladies that are friends and dog-walking buddies, well those 2 gals have good dog skills, and they handled Tina's interaction with their dogs very well, anyway they recommended I try the Easy Walk leash. Not being one to rely on gadgets that are sold to make money (was around $30 with tax at Petsmart), I bought it along with a Puppy Kong and the squirt stuff to put in the Kong (buy 1 Kong product get 1 half price). I did see some Easy Walk harnesses online for less, but after factoring in shipping it was about the same price and faster to get one at Petsmart (ICit there were none that I found that qualified for the Amazon 2 day shipping).

I put the harness on her (Medium) and had to adjust it to tighten it up in 2 places (she weighs 35 lbs now and she can grow into it). As soon as she took the first leap to move that leash had her stopping - WOW - I am totally amazed that something as simple as dog harness could have such a DRAMATIC affect on her pulling. She is a totally changed dog on the leash .

Tina wants to PLAY, and in her play she was trying to dominate the other dogs she met (typical puppy stuff I hear). Well those dogs were not having it, and after a short while Tina was showing submission. So this means we need to be sure she gets the correct playmate. One that knows how to tell her to STOP if they tire of playing. I could tell the lady who would be the one taking Tina home (if she adopted her) wasn't sure she wanted to go through the process of teaching Tina during her puppy phase with all the energy she has. It requires a firm hand to get her to listen initially, but after she knows you mean business she settles down. I love critters, but I am not taking any crap off of an exuberant puppy that needs to learn manners. She is housebroken (never a potty accident in the house) thankfully, so that is one of the best parts of her being so smart. If I could only teach her how to wash dishes and vacuum . If you have a dog that has a lot of energy and needs an outlet ... Tina would be a perfect playmate. Let's find Tina an adoptive home. She is spayed, had Rabies and Distemper vaccinations, is micro-chipped, and has been dewormed. She comes with her Puppy Kong, her Large Nylabone, and her Easy Walk Harness. Adoption fee to cover her expenses is $175.
