ebay feedback

I always leave appropriate feedback upon receiving an item as soon as possible regardless if the seller left me feedback or not. That's just me!

I've gotten the same message plenty of times. They just want to have a chance to give neutral or negative feedback if you do the same to them.

starr- did you have to use cops because ebay and Paypal wouldn't help you?
I haven't had to pursue anything like that but I've been fairly confident in the Paypal "buyer/seller protection policy." Just wondering if it's not as good as it sounds.

I paid with a money order. That was the only payment option. I figured out which college is was in from the location of the sale and the college cops were actually the ones who helped me. I wasn't the only person who had to track him down.

I hate that too. The seller should be the first to post feedback. When someone buys from me, I give them good feedback first. If I buy from them and they did not leave me feed back, then I will never give them feedback once the item is in my possession. I mostly look for 66 impala parts on Ebay.

if you will
Yes, I also think that a seller should give postive feedback as soon as they receive payment, but most of the sellers I have purchased from do indeed wait until after I give positive feedback (and some don't even bother giving feedback). But I'm just a sucker and give them positive feedback regardless of whether they've given me feedback yet (unless something is wrong). I ALWAYS give feedback (and I'm not sure I've ever given negative), but some people aren't that conscientious.

Yeah, but they shouldn't give you neutral or neg. if you've paid them on time like you're supposed to. If they're a crappy seller and you don't get your product for six weeks or you receive it all jacked up and leave bad feedback, they shouldn't "do the same". They're the ones who effed up in the first place.

:yeahthat: Kojo

I had a seller that sold me somthing "new" that was obivously used. She wouldn't fix it so I left her negative. And she gave me neg even though I paid quickly. I mean that is the only responsibility of the buyer.
