Eclipse

Anyone else excited about this? I mean, it shouldn't be a big deal but I remember being a kid making eclipse glasses in school and the teacher would make a big production of it. So I still get excited.

Anyway, here's a lookup tool so you can see when the eclipse will start in your area, when it will peak, and how much coverage there will be.

Went down to SC in 2017(?) for the last eclipse visible almost 100%, a kinda cloudy day and wasn't as good as one in the 60s I experienced.

I saw it the last time we could see it around these parts. 6 or 7 years ago? It was pretty cool!

If you all don't straighten up and fly right, I'm going to take the sun away.

I had no idea eclipse travel was a thing. All I did was get viewing glasses. It never occurred to me to take off work and get a $500/night hotel room in Paducah, KY so I could see a total eclipse.
I was curious about the 2017 one so I planned a golf trip around it and stayed with relatives in SC. I know a couple that were heading to upper NY for this one but now heading to Indiana cuz its supposed to be rainy/cloudy in NY. Dragging a 5th wheel which doesn't sound like fun to me.
