My parents help out some, but very little.
They're busy saving up so the little one can go to the best college she can.

My husband has been hounding me about getting one of those. He say 1 will power our home and we wouldnt have a monthly bill. He says they cost about 3000.00. With a 100.00 electric bill every month it wouldnt take long for it to pay for itself. Anybody know anybody with one other than big farms. And how well do they work.
There was an article in one of last week's Enterprises about the hoops a guy in Piney Point (?) is jumping through to try and get a windmill on his property.
He purchased a re furbished one for $28,000. For that kind of money, I'd take a harder look at solar, and I'm pretty sure the county won't need any permits for that.

Its going in the bank to pay for gas and food and the credit card. A family of six eats alot and with the price of everything going up I need every cent I can get. Wish I could spend it on a vacation but we have to pay the bills. I bet most people will be paying bills with it and not material items.
The Bank no longer ownes my truck.
Im pretty sure I wouldnt need no stinking permit here in BFE. And Im thinking one for my house, under 5000.00? I may have to try to find that story, thanks.
What irks me it that I have relatives getting the full "rebate" who are total spendthrifts, expect grandmas and aunties to watch their child for free when they work, and have about the same taxable income (after exemptions) as I do. They got $$ in EIC on their 07 taxes too. Spent it on crap they didn't need rather than use it for bills, necessities, etc. You know- the stuff they expect grandparents/parents/the government to pay for.
