Well, we definitely won't confuse that with the similarly named Maryland blue tongued skank now will we?! :lmao:

I have a serious question. Does your reptile stink? My roomate many years ago had a snake that smelled like death warmed over. We parted ways.

Reptiles don't generally have much of an odor. If your roomate's snake smelled, then I'd guess that they weren't taking very good care of cleaning the cage. Snakes don't smell, but snake poop does.

Actually, some snakes do have a smell. They warn you of it on one of the cages at Petco. I think it was for a type of Garter snake.

:roflmao: There ain't nothin' little about Abby! That was funny! Why didn't you get the monitors, although, from what I understand, blue tongued skinks are far more docile when raised from a hatchling. You should look into one of these. Corner Critters has them. :bubble:

How big is she?

I was looking at Red or Yellow Ackies from Pro Exotics and they're about $900 for a 1.2.0 breeding set. Very docile, though very big and very expensive, but also very profitable. As to why I didn't get them: Let's just say, life didn't go as planned.

Well, Abby is about a foot and a half long, maybe a little longer. She is over weight at the moment because I got her from a friend who got her from a friend. Anyway, she was over fed at her previous home so the vet and I are working on her weight right now. They have a gorgeous burnt orange or dark peachy orange underbelly. I would take a picture but she does NOT like being on her back. Corner Critters has them I think for about 110.00. Their tongues are absolutely beautiful, as blue as a blue berry! I could gone on, but I'm sure I'm starting to bore you! :lmao:

It looks like someone's brain cells are already dying off rapidly. It's not a pet I'd choose, but to each their own. She's adorable (not really, but I didn't want to hurt your feelings)
