Shoot, all I do is bring the eggs to a boil, turn the heat off, cover the eggs, wait a little bit, pour the hot water out of the pot and replace with cold water, come back later and peel. Perfect every time. :lmao:

:yeahthat: And start with the eggs in cold water and then heat moderately, NOT at full blast.

Egg salad is one of my favorites, too. :yum:

I can make egg salad, no problem. I don't have to worry about my eggs being all deformed, because I'm going to smash them to smithereens. It’s peeling eggs for deviled eggs that pose a problem for me. They need to not come out looking all deformed and deflected looking, so I don’t have to pretend I dropped them after they were sealed in the plastic devilled egg container.

But wait, there's more...
I let 'em boil for 6 minutes with salt in the water, dump the hot, add cold and ice, and let 'em sit for about 10 minutes. No peeling problems. :yay:

You guys are missing the point of my post. I'm not some nagin who can't peel an egg. I'm merely saying that the Omega 3 eggs do not peel properly, like normal eggs do. So if you're looking to make hardboiled eggs that will remain intact for devilled eggs or just random snacking, don't buy the Omega 3 eggs.

Anyone who has eaten deviled eggs or egg salad by Pixie can rest assured that they're eggs were cooked to all hell and back... I take them outa the fridge and put in a pot and cover with cold water. On the stove and bring to a boil. Let them cook for 10 minutes at a boil. Drain hot water and run cold water over them as I peel. :faint:

They always peel and taste fine.

That is true. I have a tough time heating a Hungryman Chicken dinner but I can sure boil an egg.
