Former first lady Michelle Obama claims the looming 2024 presidential election keeps her up at night, and warned, "We cannot take this democracy for granted."

Obama appeared on an episode of Jay Shetty’s "On Purpose" podcast, which was released on Monday. While the podcast is ostensibly about mental health, the conversation became explicitly political when she was asked about concerns that occupy her mind.

"What is the thing that keeps you up at night now, or what is your biggest fear now, after having overcome so many?" the podcast host asked.

I don't get what they are doing - but even more, I don't understand why anyone is buying it. It's across the board, in all leftie outlets - Trump is Hitler and if he gets into the White House, it's the end of democracy and all of our rights.

HUH? You know, I remember 2017 through 2021. With the exception of COVID, those were GREAT years, and if Trump is/was Hitler, how come he was good for the country THEN, by somehow will destroy it NOW?

I've now HEARD Biden stategists say, point blank, that they can't run on how great it is since he took office - the public isn't buying it and it won't work. They're pivoting entirely on "white supremacy". "extreme MAGA" and "Trump is Hitler".

I just can't see how it can fool anyone who's actually been paying attention. Was he Hitler LAST time? Why will he be Hitler - now?

The ONLY LOGICAL conclusion I can come to is - they really don't have anything else. Sure, they can run on abortion. That can work. But WHO THE HELL WANTS FOUR MORE YEARS OF BIDEN, especially since there's a much increased chance of "President Harris" looming.

But Democrats can fool the 38% that voted Biden-Obama any of the time.
They fear Trump going after them like they went after him.

I sincerely hope that he pardons every J-6 political prisoner the first day in office.

And gives them massive restitution, taking it directly out of the pockets of the people who put them and kept them in prison.

I can understand fear of some OTHER Republican, however ridiculous it might be - but Trump - he WAS President. Surely if there's belief in evil he will unleash, then why didn't he do it when he had FOUR YEARS to do it?

I've been thinking this, too. He didn't do it in his first term, what makes them think he'll do it in his second. These people are lunatics.

Well, he had to worry about re-election first. Hauling people off to the camps was on the second term agenda.

The flip side of it is - the alternative is four MORE years of what we've been getting. If you don't like Biden or the last four years, if he wins, you will have more of it - and unlikely to be an improvement.

So there you have it - a picure of Trump as Stalin/Hitler like tyrant - which he never was during four YEARS - or an extremely plausible FOUR MORE years of Biden.

With one proviso - it may include a year or two of HARRIS.

Whoopi is not the lunatic, they say these thing in order to convince the ignorant imbeciles that they wish to frighten with their Bullsht.
Donald trump had the best 4 year term we have seen in many a year, Economically, and peacefully, and if he had help from Republicans he would have been even better. It took a political party working in unison with the Chinese biological warfare laboratory to get rid of him.
