I was going to say how well Steny did to not get elected to the leadership position again.
Please tell me how powerful he really is. That says it all,
Steny decided to not seek a leadership position along with Nancy and the guy from Georgia.

So the old white folks cant be in a subordinate position, but the Black guy can? Great optics....
No love for Steny, but I think they decided their time was over, and to let the young'uns have a shot. I would not be surprised if Steny decides to not seek reelection in two years.

Then our next Rep will be a leftist Prog from PG County.

He should have decided that before this election.

And how can a leftist prog from PG be any worse than Steny. a leftist, Pelosi ass-kissing, Baby killing, purse toting, taxing , prick.

We know what happened in 2016: not one single person on the left took Trump seriously as a candidate, and by the time they figured it out, they had no time to respond the way they did in 2020; by lying, cheating, and stealing the election, primarily on the strength of "lost" ballots that suddenly made an appearance in the wee hours of the morning. You know: the time of the morning known as the dark night of the soul. There's a reason.

They thought the fix was in, it was "Her Time," that Killary had it in the bag. Surprise!

I did not know that butt-snorkeling Nancy was a position of leadership.

Rep. Jeffries and the New Generation of Democratic Leadership

Politics, Hakeem Jeffries, Democratic Party, House Democrats, Congress, Nancy Pelosi, Black America, House Of Representatives

AllSides Summary

On Tuesday, House Democrats unanimously elected Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) as the next House Democratic Leader, replacing Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who stepped down last month. His rise to party leadership marks a number of firsts, and outlets across the spectrum are reflecting on its significance, and the challenges Hakeem faces leading the Democrats into a new era.

For Context: Jeffries is the first black American to lead a major U.S. party. He is 52 years old, 30 years younger than the outgoing speaker.

From the Left: A piece in CNN Opinion stated it was a “testament to the national character” that the “voice of the first Black leader of the Democratic minority in Congress will be seated at the head of the table” as the nation enters its next stage. A writer in the Washington Post (Lean Left Bias) stated that Jeffries’ key goal will be maintaining “unity in search of legislative deals and provide a contrast between a party that fights for working people and one that opposes reality and democratic governance.”

From the Right: The New York Post Editorial Board congratulated Jeffries for “ushering in a new generation of Democratic leaders in the House,” as well as voicing optimism on Jeffries’ ability to reach across the aisle and settle party disputes. Brad Polumbo (Lean Right Bias) cited Jeffries' repeated statements casting doubt on former President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential victory to determine that “going with Jeffries makes hypocrites out of the Democratic establishment.” Some on the right also highlighted Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) calling Jeffries an "election denier."

Jeffries Confronted Over Doubting Trump Was Legitimate President

“It’s unfortunate that Republicans have chosen to focus on me,” Jeffries said. “House Democrats are going to focus on solving problems for the American people.”

George Stephanopoulos, the host of ABC’s “This Week,” pressed the issue during a Sunday interview, noting Jeffries did raise doubts about Trump’s legitimacy. He also stressed that Republicans are making this a “big issue.”

Asked again to respond, Jeffries focused on the “Republican playbook,” in which he said, “facts don’t matter, hypocrisy is not a constraint to their behavior, and in many cases, they believe shamelessness is a superpower.”

If it weren't for double standards, Democrats would have no standards at all.

Whereas Nancy and Steny are smart crooks and hypocrites, Jeffries is a dumb crook and hypocrite. Way to pick 'em, Dems. But then, do they have anyone under 70 who isn't a dumb crook?

Shamelessness. He mentions shamelessness.
They make up a hoax--pay for it--and use it for 2 years ---lie about it, it's proven false, and they still use it. They invade the home of a former President, invade his home carrying machine guns, they invade the privacy of his tax records, they harass and arrest his friends , family, and anyone who worked for him. Then this man speaks of shamelessness?

Speaking of a man with a paper ass this guy is is the Poster Child.
