No problems. I had a plumber (Affordable Plumbing) install a line (with a three outlet 'T'). drilled through brick/block into crawl space then ran the line. One line each for drop in stove top, fireplace and outdoor grill. Taylor installed tank and regulator. Electricity was no big deal either, just installed another outlet.
No building permit needed in St. Mary's that I know of.
Middle of hurricane we were cooking spaghetti...
Okayyyyyy..... you can get rid of the undies too.
Cool thanks guys! Was it pricey to switch to gas? How often do you have to have the gas filled?
Taylor Gas is coming out Tuesday to run the gas to our new stove and water heater.
I'm sure they would come out and install a tank and run the lines for you because if you have their tank you have to have them fill it
I bought my fireplace from Hearth and Patio place in Waldorf, and they ran the line for free, but I had to pay for building permit for them to install the line and fireplace. No biggie deal.
.
you are moody lately.![]()
She may be with Grandchild.. step lightly..
Go ahead and put a 500 gallon tank in so when you get your 20kw standby genny, you'll have plenty of fuel.
They have to be qualified to install gas lines. They don't blow up houses if they are qualified, well, they shouldn't anyway...To add the pipe lines in the house inside the walls, under the basement ceilings/crawlspace ceilings, etc. You need to have it inspected to make sure it is installed correctly or a house will blow up.
We bought ours from Taylor Gas for a 1/3rd the price of Hearth and Patio..
Good thing you REFUSE to do business with Taylor!!

We had it done years ago. We run a gas dryer, fireplace, gas stove. Fill up 2-3 times year. Propane is higher price than natural gas though...
