I just received this in my email. If anyone else receives it I hope you haven't hit the "Reply" and given the information they asked for.

Sent: Sunday, March 13, 2011 3:52 PM
To: undisclosed recipients:
Subject: Verizon Email Warning Alert !!!

Verizon E-Mail Account Users,

Your Verizon mailbox has exceeded the saver storage limit which is 16GB as set by your administrator,you are currently running on 18.9GB,you may not be able to send or receive new mail until you re-validate your Verizon mailbox. And your Verizon mailbox has to be upgraded to our New F-Secure R HTK4S anti-virus/anti-Spam version 2011 to prevent damage to your mail login and your important files.
You are required to do this within the next 24 hours of receipt of this email or your database will be erased and De-activated from our database.

To re-validate your mailbox please send your

This happens a lot around Spring time. They usually say that I've exceeded my internet usage for the month (which I have no limit on) so I just forward the email to: spamdetector.notcaught@verizon.net and they handle it.

Verizon would only ask you to go to their website and change any mis-information. NEVER click on a link if one is provided. It almost always takes you to a phony "phishing" site that looks authentic...

Certainly, "rdwang.com" does not appear to be an authorized Verizon POC.

This one didn't even provide a phony link. They just want you to hit the reply and answer their questions. It does have some of that funny syntax and punctuation errors as well. I will forward it to the spamdetector site.
