About 3 years ago it changed from the "used book store" to the "adult outlet" and gave up any pretence of being a book store. Assume it went out of business because you can buy dildos and butt plugs online without worrying about running into a neigbor or coworker.

One of the fun things about working at ASEC was watching the people looking around before ducking through the door or trying to hide the bags as they left......

I went to Las Vegas to a conference with a female coworker, one of the first things she said was let's go to a show girl show. I said "you sure., there is nudity?" Sher said "I've got tits, I know what they look like".

Funny thing was during the breaks they had a very raunchy female comedian, people at the titty show were offended by the comedian and walked out. We still tell some of those jokes to coworkers.

I was a Choo Choos patron back in the 80s....much higher class of joint. Practically a family friendly place almost. Almost.

After getting busted for underage dancers, “family friendly“ might’ve been their best option for spin.
