This book has been a great read. Easy, light, full of description and good food. I absolutely love Low Country so I try to find anything I can that takes place there.

I got two more of her books. I'll let you know how they are later.

Also love Dorothea Benton Frank. Her early books are the best, all about Pawleys and surrounding islands in South Carolina. Her more recent books just aren't as good.

Too bad it's not available on the library's audio list. Sounds like it would've been a good one for my upcoming drive to KS. I'll keep it on my list for a regular read!

I've read this! I absolutely love this book, I've read it twice (which I never do). It's even been made into a movie set to release this summer.
