Yea looking at the documentation I see nothing that supports the AC595....need to do some more research...this sucks :buttkick:

So far I love the card!!! Before I go outside with a sledge hammer to my direcway dish I still need to find a router to work with the card. There doesn't seem to be much being said in the regards of actual routers supporting this card :jameo:

Also has anyone had any trouble with being over there limit on bandwidth? Seems to me I see alot of compalining in this regard. I'm not aperson who does p2p, gaming, or heavy downloading just mainly work! email and the surfing the net so not to heavy on bandwidth but there are times where I may need to pull down a attachment of 8-15 meg or send....Just curious if anyone has seen Verizon frown on this and cancel there service?

What is the Venturi accelerator? I have heard people talk about it but very confused :confused: What is it?

By the way EVDO rocks.....Speakeasy test are consistently around 1.3 meg down and 400-450K up...ping times are around 90-120ms.

Can't wait to smash the direcway dish! :lmao:

Thoughts on a router also for the VZ AC595 card?

Weird I will have to check my usage. I use my card every day here in the office along with trips on the weekends and such. I use it pretty intensive doing vpn connections and pulling data across and such. 5 gigs seems a little low for a month but I guess thats a decent amount of data. I would never download a movie though with the card just not fast enough for all of that. I will tell you my air card was causing me to blue screen and I will give windows update a thumbs up as when I went to send a notice of the failure it sent me directly to hp for a bios update for the issue and since then no more blue screen. Also venturi is completely removed and my speeds are better then with that stupid software.

What is Venturi? Is that the name of the software client?

Venturi is a speed boosting software that verizon installs when you install your card drivers and such. It's a piece of crap really.
