He was one of my childhood hero's. I rember well all my action figures. He bacame a Christian not long ago. I saw his testimony on TV.

I remember when Evel first hit the news, all the kids in the neighborhood dragging plywood out into the road, making ramps and jumping w/their Huffy's..RIP Evel!
we did the same thing.
I remember the first time I jumped the ramp, When I landed my feet slipped off the pedals and,, well lets just say a little bit of me died that day too... or at least felt like it.

thanks for the imagination that you gave us all Evil. RIP.



Oh, and, I take back all the things I said about you moments after that jump.

I was the first kid on my block to get one of those Evel Knievel Deluxe Dare Devil Stunt Set with wind-up stunt bike. That was so cool.
