Excessive Cat Flatulence

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there something that I can give them to control their gas problem? I only feed them Fancy Feast so I doubt that the food is the problem. It wouldn't be bad if it was 1 or 2 of them but imagine how bad it is when you have 29 cats running around the house tooting every 5 minutes. It's disgusting.

All my kitties are housebroken, thank you very much. My husband suggested putting ballons in their butts and then letting the balloons go outside once they are inflated.

It's not hoarding, all of my animals are very well cared for and loved.

You can hear them constantly. If you were blind, you would think I was raising frogs.

Canned Fancy Feast will give them gas. I know. Try alternating canned and dry Fancy Feast. Worked for my guys.

Could you imagine cleaning that many litter boxes? I am sure all of her cats are very well behaved and never mark or miss the litter box either. I hope she owns stock in febreeze. peeeeeewwww

Dry food , we had that problem when ever our two monsters would eat wet food its nasty stuff.

Now our two little ones only get dry food , no cat farts , plus there teeth are cleaner eating the dry food and treats.

They get little canned tuna once in a while as a treat

There is always GAS-X it works for dogs

I have a cat that developed an anal gland impaction that had to be cleared by a vet. I was told that a strictly dry diet can cause that. So now I give canned a couple times a week in small amounts with dry available all the time.

Dry food , we had that problem when ever our two monsters would eat wet food its nasty stuff.
