Drudge has a repport saying as many as 60 - 70 ppl may be dead; rescuers have had to pull back for fear of another explosion.

WTOP reporting this morning that 8 first responders confirmed dead. If that's true, then there are going to be many, many more dead. Houses and building for blocks are destroyed. A 50 unit apt. building is now a skeleton building. I'm thinking hundreds dead. Damn!

That is what I saw many ask last night... There is/was a nursing home and school close by.... and as bad as it is (and it sounds terribly bad)... at least school was out.

I'd say so now... they are evacuating 2600 people... that is what CNN is reporting saying they have a large truck loaded that could explode at the plant. They were interviewing a man a mile away and every window in his house was blown out.
