Why do you say that? I thought it was a good question and you gave a thoughtful answer.
its a question for which you can't find an answer in the good book, so i guess that makes it meaninless?

Because whether an extraterrestrial needs salvation has nothing to do with my life or yours. We can not affect the outcome in any way and any answer is purely a game of speculation. Whether I need a Savior or you need a Savior and whether we have one has everything to do with our lives.

But, theoretically, IF God created not only the heavens* and earth, then why WOULDN'T the salvation needs of extraterrestrial beings be just as significant to a christian as his fellow humanoid?

*I associate "heavens" to be a reference to the theoretical "afterlife", golden gates and all that stuff as opposed to looking up in the sky and thinking heaven hangs out on a fluffy cloud up there. But that's a whole entire different thread.

I had the same thought. Did the people who lived in the Americas not matter before 1492? What about the civilizations who we found in the last 100 years? What if there is still a civilization on Earth that we haven't found yet? Are they "not significant" because we have never seen them?
