I stumbled across these today. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Augustine's_laws Truthful and funny at the same time.

Law #16 seems appropriate with regard to this topic. "In the year 2054, the entire defense budget will purchase just one aircraft. This aircraft will have to be shared by the Air Force and Navy 3-1/2 days each per week except for leap year, when it will be made available to the Marines for the extra day."

Man, I'm still here !!!
Not to be disrespectful but you don't know anything about air to air combat and ROE's do you?

It's not all BVR and like in the movies, if that was the case we won't need fighters since we wouldn't need anything that maneuverable, we could just hang missiles on the B-2 and call it done.

The tactics will change, bet you a hundred right now that F35 will never have an A/A gun kill!
