OMG... I had no idea what I was getting into...

Flogging Molly sounded innocent enough on CD... I was diggin' the fact that I was gonna go see a bunch of rowdy Irish dudes jig it up... it seems when they play a "in the cellar" club in Baltimore they are more the genre of "head banging Irish PUNK band"... I, kwillia, at the age of 38 went to my very first (and last) punk concert...

The show was sold out which means there were about 800 of us standing in a huge, dark, poorly ventilated cellar.... there were three punk bands altogether.... it kept getting hotter, and sweatier, and wilder... bodies jumping, thrashing, swinging, and such. My bro and sis are regular moshers so they spent their entire time protecting me from the swarm... it was a most interesting experience, I must say...

I would like to have an adult diaper right now because I have to pee and I'm on hold with the David's Bridal people.

I'd probably would one again if I ever sign up for AOL and then tried to cancel later on. They will try to keep you on the phone for an hour trying to get you to reconsider.

My brother took me to a couple of clubs in Richmond in the early 80's that definitely opened this country girl's eyes. :shocking I wouldn't do it again, but it was a heck of an experience.

I forgot to mention the fact that my bro wanted to walk the 8 blocks back from the club to the hotel... 8 blocks of walking the streets of Baltimore... at 12:30 a.m.... I convinced him to hail a cab two blocks into the walk...
