Family dogs kill 2 Tennessee children, injure mom who tried to stop mauling, family says

The attack took place outside of the family's Memphis home. The two children were found dead at the scene.

Kirstie Bennard, 30, suffered critical injuries when she tried to intervene in the attack on her 5-month-old boy, Hollace Dean, and 2-year-old girl, Lilly Jane, family and police said.

"She put her body on top of Lilly’s to try and protect her after the attack started," Bennard's uncle by marriage, Jeff Gibson told USA TODAY on Saturday. "Both (dogs) started attacking her while she lay on Lilly."

Well people keep buying them and thinking they are pets.
IMO everyone with a pit bull buys them to intimidate someone.
They are ugly animals .

But what can I say. A lot of them are Biden voters too.
They never learn until it bites them in the ass.

At the Lowe's where I worked in northern Illinois, a co-worker had the nickname Pit Yorkie.

I had relatives that had a Yorkie. That little sucker was vicious when it came to strangers. He would cower and hide. My cousins told people don't try and pet him, just leave him alone. He would go under the furniture and hide and they still would reach under for him (adults, not kids). He could tear up a finger. Nobody listened when told to leave him alone or he could bite you. Far different cry from a pit bull though.
