I'm burning in flames with you and Harvick29 and taking the risk of picking someone other than Flipper/Wildthing/Johnsen ftw.

My pick has not won a race all season, and this could be his last real shot. In 2006, he adding to a dominating second-half with a win here. Wins at Loudon and Phoenix propelled him to a top-5 points finish and he has not DNF'd in a resounding 70 races.

It's been a long time since this driver has last seen a Sprint Cup Series victory lane, but the last time he did, it was as breathtaking as it gets in NASCAR. I'm going with the 2007 Daytona 500 champion Kevin Harvick to break a 61 race winless streak and score the victory in the Chevrolet Rock & Roll 400 at Richmond for the second time in his career.
  1. Kevin Harvick
  2. Jimmie Johnson
  3. David Ragan*
  4. Denny Hamlin
  5. Wildthing
*could change between now and Friday*

Joey Logano
Risky. I like "Sliced Bread" but I don't know about that.

Then again, stranger things have happened. Rusty Wallace finished 2nd in his Winston Cup debut.

Jamie McMurray scored the first of his 2 wins in his 2nd start.

Bob Flock, Johnny Mantz, Bill Norton, Dan Gurney and Kevin Harvick all scored wins in their 3rd Winston Cup start.

Like you said "RISKY" , However I have nothing to lose in the standing , 9th place and no way possible out of 9th! Logano will be a factor to reckon with in the Future if not NOW!

They don't call him "Sliced Bread" for nothing. :killingme

You only get to write history once.

Back in 1992, Jeff Gordon made his first career Winston Cup Series start at Atlanta. I wish I could see this weekend's race. :ohwell:

:yeahthat: Did that last year, and they tried to start the race in the rain, even though they knew it was going to rain all night.

That track is one of the worst when it comes to weather policies. They ALWAYS wait until the last minute, then trying to get out of there is the mother B. I think there were 7 accidents in section H parking alone the time I went to the washout.

Sunday afternoon races are great at Richmond, better than the night racing imo. I grew up to Saturday Night is Charlotte County Speedway night, Sunday is NASCAR Day, Sunday Night is Football Night.

:killingme You parking in a parking lot?

Sorry Andy, ain't nothing better than racing under the lights. Grew up? Andy, they've been racing at night in Richmond for 17 years.
