:killingme You parking in a parking lot?

Where else would I park? ON the track? :killingme

Sorry Andy, ain't nothing better than racing under the lights. Grew up? Andy, they've been racing at night in Richmond for 17 years.
The "spring race" that actually took place in the middle of Winter:killingme was a Sunday afternoon race.

Charlotte, Miami, both Daytona races, both California races, Darlington, Chicagoland, Richmond, Bristol, Atlanta next year.

I'm getting tired of Saturday night races. You know why NASCAR's TV ratings are falling like a rock? Because people would rather spend their Saturday nights at local short tracks watching side-by-side racing rather than these cookie-cutter cars racing under the lights at these cookie-cutter tracks.

NASCAR's becoming boring. And their solution, every time, is "race under the lights."

Because racing under the lights has made Auto Club Speedway of Southern California's racing SOOOOOO much better.

Andy, sometimes there are people who do know just a tad more than you. I've been going to Richmond since you were in diapers. Yes, the spring race was a day race and was in the cooler weather..it was crap shoot...either cold or really nice. But the fall race has been a night race for many years.

There are plenty of places to park that aren't in a parking lot....been doing it for years. We park in Alex's front yard for $20 and we are back at our hotel in downtown Richmond about 30 minutes after the race is over.

For a young guy, you're really negative about everything that should be fun...NASCAR, football..you name it. How unfortunate. Fun is where you make it.

Going to the big deal NASCAR races stopped being fun when my wallet started shrinking thanks to ga$ prices.

I'm not going to Richmond or Dover this year. New Jersey is the final stock car race for me until May (Rockingham).

:yeahthat: It takes more emotion and energy to be negative all the time than it does to be positive.

I remember going to the Spring Cup race and sitting in snow.

I have friends who have campers, and we park over by the gate the race cars come in. $20 buck and I'm in and out of the track in no time, unless I decide to stay overnight.

Doubleheader Sunday!

Cup at 1 and Nationwide at 7.
...on ESPN and ESPN2.

So, they're gonna have the Spitcup race on ESPN because of IndyCar. :boo:

Is the Spitcup race gonna be on ESPN360.com? No. Is the Indycar race that's on ABC gonna be on ESPN360.com? Yes.

Guess I have no choice than to buy a ticket and drive on down. :ohwell:

#### ESPN. :boo:
