This weekend, the oldest superspeedway, the oldest 500 mile race, in NASCAR - The Southern 500! :yahoo:

Here are the standings after Richmond:

Glad you saw mistake Beav, I was about to correct you on scoring . As for Short Tracks Boring statement - I like the Wide Open tracks where SPEED is the dominate factor. I apologize to all those whom found my statement distasteful. Short Tracks are great for passing in the turns viewing ! :buddies:

It's worth noting every Hendrick car (including the two Stewart-Haas entries) finished inside the top 7 -- with the exception of Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

I like Junyer, and I don't know what his deal is lately -- but he needs to get his head in the game. Outside the Chase, outside the top 20 in points, and the only Hendrick car without a win this season.

In fact, Jimmie and "the old man" have won twice now... and the 5 car was the worst performing Hendrick car last season with Casey Mears as the driver.

WTG MARK! I'm still pumped. This might be his year to FINALLY win the Sprint Cup. :yahoo:
