FANTASY CHALLLENGE: Aaron's 499 at Talladega

They call me ... Sarcasmo
Ok, I can see why Andy directs some anger over ESPN's coverage, or lack thereof. During the NNC Mexico CIty race, Kyle Busch and Scott Pruett had been going at it pretty good for the lead for a while then they decide to cut to an isolated shot of Bowyer in 5th and they start expounding on what was going on with that team. When they come back to show the leader, they were like, "Whoa, lead change!" and that was pretty much it. No video, no audio just, "Busch is the new leader."

And that, right there, is typical ESPN. Sucky. :ohwell:

They lost all credibility with the IndyCar race at Twin Ring Motegi. I find it to be very funny that they decided to push the race to an instant "ESPN Classic," send only one pit reporter, have the worst coverage known to man and it ended up being one of the biggest events in motorsports history.

Everything blew up in ESPN's collective faces and they didn't care. Hopefully, it'll be enough for IndyCar and NASCAR to pull their contracts and move elsewhere.

You're welcome to join in. You might make it in and out of the nacho zone at this point.

Thanks for the invite but I'm too superstitious. I would pick Jr. every week and jinx him. I became a Jr. fan because of Sr. The Man In Black caught my eye during an IROC race in 85. He drafted up behind the 1st and 2nd place cars who were battling door to door, tried to squeeze in between, hit and crashed them both and won the race. I decided that was my man. Luckily my Dad, a diehard "King Richard" fan didn't disown me, even when I showed up with an Earnhardt T-shirt. He did razz me the rest of his life though. I miss you Dad.

Maybe instead of Dale Jr. leading the whole race and losing at the end...He won't lead any of it and lead the last lap!!! It's quite possible he wins Talladega and then Richmond next weekend!!!

Talladega - maybe.

Richmond - possible, but Harvick and Hamlin will be tough. Johnson swept there last year, but didn't have the best car in either race.
