Farmer's Market

Stopped at the Farmer's Market in Town Creek this morning, needed some nice tomatoes. Leonardtown Wineries was there, so I selected a white, a Vidal Blanc. Had it with dinner. Not thrilled with it... left a bit of a metallic taste for the first glass.

But tell ya what...... by the time you get to the last ounce or two of the bottle, you really don't care........

Good start to the weekend....

I am not a fan of Maryland wines.....but I think Vidal Blanc is the best of them....JMHO

I prefer their 1634 Chardonnay.

Not a big fan of the Leonardtown Wineries. Overpriced and not that great, imho. Now Slack winery, love the Red Drum Red and they've got a new white out that is delicious.
