I feel sick. Hug your babies extra tomorrow, it doesn't matter if they are human babies, equine, k9, feline, reptilian....etc. Love them.

I am sure he will get his punishment in jail. They say people who hurt children usually do not last long in jail.


How people can hurt and kill innocent children is beyond me.

Why was a man who has a record of domestic abuse given unsupervised visits with these kids in the first place?

Now he has murdered them and our Governor wants to do away with the death penalty for such trash.

We need to take a long look at Maryland's domestic court system. Decisions by court appointed Master's who treat citizens with marital problems as though they were his slaves is a bad system. It takes some of the work load off the Judges ,if the Judges have such a big workload, lets get more Judges, not court appointed hacks. It is wrong for the most important decisions made in a childs life (custody)to be made, not in open court,but in the backroom of the courthouse by a court appointed Master.

I agree with that, but I thought the Juvenile Master was elected, not appointed?

Regardless, when a judge makes a grave error like that, I think they should bear some responsibility for the bad outcome. As it stands, judges are pretty much bullet-proof and can do whatever they like without fear of reprisals.

Police Commissioner Frederick H. Bealefeld III said the children's mother, Amy Castillo, reported the children missing to the Montgomery County Police Department at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, when her estranged husband failed to return after a visit. The commissioner said Baltimore authorities had no idea anyone was missing until the father, Mark Castillo, 41, called hotel security and said he had killed his children and was considering harming himself.

The courts always secure visitation for these men that hate their wives, and love themselves more than they love their own children. When will we learn that just because you can create a child means you know how to be a parent. Shame on the court system, yet again.
