Faulty Installation Of Boiler

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone out there had a System 2000 boiler put in their home locally. We have contacted the place that installed it and complained of Gasses around the exhaust manifold were leaking back into the house. You can actually taste it. The exhaust manifold is (According to the manufacture I called them) supposed to act like a balanced flu where underneath the manifold there is an opening where a fresh air pipe is suposed to take air from the outside and put it back into the boiler so you dont suck cold air in around windows and such to feed the boiler fresh air. It really is a neat boiler.
The only problem is the company (Which I will leave nameless for now) that installed it left this opening in the bottom of the manifold open and the exhaust is pouring in the house. The wood around the manifold is very black and Im afraid it is going tocatch on fire soon. We are contacting an attorney that specializes in carbon monoxide poisoning so we can get a specialist out to see what the damage actually is. When we go to court I will publish the name of the company that installed. My point is this if you have a boiler like this make sure your people that installed it didnt make the same mistake in your home. To beat all I called the company and the owner was supposed to come out to see what I was talking about and never even called me back to setup an appointment. This is after I told him exhaust fumes was leaking back into the home. So if you have one of these boilers and you notice soot around the exhaust manifold where it exits the house shoot me an email and I will turn you onto the attorney we use to get this resolved.
Remember Carbon Monoxide is a silent killer.

Did you call the gas company? Did you get it fixed?
I would be calling someone asap if you think that it could catch on fire....

Good luck!!!!!
