GREAT MILLS —Police report that on July 05 SDFC MIchael D. Peacher observed a vehicle parked in a handicap parking space, at the Great Mills Wawa. The vehicle was not displaying handicap registration plate or placard. SDFC Peacher contacted the driver, and identified him as Charles Brandon Kier, a twenty four year old black male, from Charlottesville, Va. A check was conducted, and Suspect Kier was found to be a fugitive from justice. He had three active felony warrants, and one active misdemeanor warrant in the state of Virginia. SDFC Peacher placed suspect, Kier under arrest, and transported him to the St May’s County Detention Center where he was charged for being a fugitive from justice, and was given a citation for parking in a handicap parking space. He is currently waiting extradition to Virginia.

I read that i think about a week ago and thought how stupid could a criminal be to be wanted on felony charges and be stupid enough to park in a handicap spot and get arrested.

What amuses me is that on top of all those felony charges, they still throw in the parking citation. Just to rub a little salt in the wound.

The felonies are in Va, Md got him for parking.

Yeah, I know. But it's like MD just had to throw that last one in there for good measure. Like we said to this guy, "hey, we're sending you back to VA to face all these felony charges you tried to escape. BTW, don't forget to send us a check for the parking ticket from your jail cell."

:shrug: Just struck me as funny, that's all. I'm laughing at others' misfortune, that's what we do here right?
